We’re excited to have you! This quick guide will help you install, set up your karaoke library, and start performing in minutes.

What is KantiOke?

KantiOke is a video karaoke player. It plays the karaoke videos you already own. Bring your own songs from your hard drive or import videos you’ve created yourself. You may also source karaoke videos from platforms like YouTube — just make sure you respect copyright and that you have the rights to use the content in your venue or at home.

BYO Library: KantiOke doesn’t ship with songs. Organize your own collection and the app will index it for fast searching, queuing, and remote control.

Before you start

  • Windows PC (x64) with admin rights.
  • Stable local network (Wi-Fi or LAN) if you plan to use phones as remotes.
  • Optional: A second screen/TV for the singer’s video output.

Install & Launch

  1. Download KantiOke v3 from the official website.
  2. Extract the download, then copy KantiOke - Video Karaoke Player v3.exe to your Desktop for easy access.
  3. Double-click the EXE to run. If Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus shows an alert, you can proceed — we assure you this is a false alarm.
    If you prefer, choose More info → Run anyway.
  4. On first run:
    • If you already purchased a license, click Register and enter your key.
    • Otherwise, choose Try for a 30-day trial. Note: trial shows periodic notifications.

Add your Karaoke Library

  1. Click the “+” icon in the lower-left corner.
  2. Navigate to the folder(s) where you store your karaoke videos and select them.
  3. For best results, keep your folders named in a clear pattern, for example: 
    D:\KARAOKE VIDEO
E:\VIDEOKE

Accepted folder names include any of the following:
"KARAOKE VIDEO", "KARAOKE\VIDEO", "KARAOKE_VIDEO", "MEDIA\KARAOKE",
"KARAOKE FILES", "KARAOKE", "VIDEOKE", "KANTIOKE"
  4. KantiOke will index your songs. When done, you’re ready to start!

Start Rooms & Play

  1. On the main screen, click START. A Room Selection page opens in your default browser.
  2. In trial mode, 3 rooms are unlocked. To unlock up to 15 rooms, purchase and register a license.
  3. Select any room to open a player window.

Use Your Phone as a Remote

  1. With the player open, point your phone’s camera at the on-screen QR code.
  2. The mobile page lets you: search songs, queue/reserve, manage a song list, save favorites, and control playback. Explore!

Same Network Required: Make sure your phone and the KantiOke PC are on the same Wi-Fi/LAN network for remote control to work.

Play from a TV or Room Browser

  1. Ensure the TV (Smart TV), set-top browser, or room PC/tablet is connected to the same network as the KantiOke PC.
  2. On that device, open the browser and navigate to the Server IP & Port shown in the KantiOke software (e.g. http://192.168.1.100).
  3. The Room Selection page will appear. Select your room to launch the player for that display.
  4. Once the player is open, use your phone to scan the QR code shown on the screen to connect the remote.

Find your Server IP: Look at the KantiOke status bar/server info. Or on Windows: press Win+R → type cmd → run ipconfig and use the IPv4 Address of the active adapter.
